Role & Permission Management

Configure admin, manager, and member roles with granular access controls.

Quick Steps

  1. 1
    Open Team settings -- Navigate to Team > Roles in your admin dashboard.
  2. 2
    Review roles -- Understand the three role levels and their permissions.
  3. 3
    Assign roles -- Change any team member role from their profile page.

Role Hierarchy

Jodly Business has three role levels:

Admin

  • Full access to all settings
  • Manage billing and subscription
  • Add/remove team members
  • Configure branding and templates
  • View all analytics
  • Change member roles
  • Manager

  • Add/remove team members
  • View team analytics
  • Cannot change billing or admin settings
  • Cannot change other managers' or admins' roles
  • Member

  • Edit their own card
  • View their personal analytics
  • Cannot access admin dashboard
  • Cannot view other members' analytics
  • Changing Roles

  • Go to Team > Members
  • Click on the team member
  • Select "Change Role"
  • Choose the new role
  • Confirm the change
  • Best Practices

  • Limit Admin access to 1-2 people
  • Use Manager role for team leads
  • All other employees should be Members
