  • Card content -- details you add to your digital business card including social links, bio, and images
  • Contact data -- contacts you import or scan via OCR
  • Communications -- messages you send through our contact form or support channels
  • Payment information -- processed securely by Razorpay; we do not store card numbers

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data -- pages visited, features used, actions taken
  • Device information -- device type, OS version, browser type
  • Analytics data -- profile views, button clicks, QR scans (aggregated)
  • Log data -- IP address (anonymized), timestamps, error logs

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and maintain the Service
  • Create and manage your digital business card
  • Process card exchanges and contact scans
  • Provide analytics on your card performance
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Communicate with you about updates and support

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data only in these cases:

  • Public profile -- information on your public card is visible to anyone you share it with
  • Service providers -- Firebase (hosting, auth, database), Razorpay (payments), analytics tools
  • Company admins -- if you are part of a Business plan team, your admin can see your card details and analytics
  • Legal requirements -- if required by law or to protect our rights

5. Data Security

We protect your data using:

  • Encryption at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3)
  • Firebase Security Rules limiting database access
  • Cloud Functions for serving public data (no direct database access)
  • TOTP-based two-factor authentication for admin accounts
  • Regular security audits and penetration testing

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we permanently erase your data within 30 days, except for payment records retained for tax and legal purposes (up to 7 years).

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access -- request a copy of your personal data
  • Correction -- update or correct any inaccurate data
  • Deletion -- request permanent deletion of your account and data
  • Export -- download your contacts and card data in CSV format
  • Withdraw consent -- opt out of marketing communications at any time

8. Cookies and Analytics

Our website uses essential cookies for functionality and Google Analytics for usage tracking. You can disable analytics in your browser settings. Our mobile app does not use cookies.

  • Razorpay -- payment processing
  • Google Analytics -- website analytics

Each third party has its own privacy policy governing how they handle your data.

10. Children’s Privacy

Jodly is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we discover we have collected data from a child, we will delete it immediately.
